Jewellery Website

Chin Murthi’s jewellery

I designed the Chin Murthi project, a UI/UX web design project for an online jewelry store. My goal was to create a simple, appealing website that would boost sales. The design focused on creating a luxurious experience with exclusive products and transparent information. I used a "super simple" approach for the UX and a component-based system for the UI. The final website improved user interaction and helped the brand become a trusted online jeweler, which led to increased sales.

Business Goal

The business goal was to build a website that would empower a jewelry brand, Chin Murthi, to strengthen its online presence and increase sales. The system was designed to simplify product showcasing, reduce friction in the user journey, and ensure a smooth, visually appealing experience. The website aims to improve brand perception, strengthen customer relationships, and support scalable growth by streamlining the online jewelry shopping experience.

User Impact Goal

The user impact goal was to provide customers with an intuitive website that makes online jewelry shopping effortless and efficient. The website enhances usability by showcasing products clearly, maintaining an appealing design, and providing a mobile-friendly layout with intuitive navigation. This improves customer service, reduces friction, and boosts the brand's trustworthiness and sales.

Design Process

Through in-depth study, I began by conceptualizing ideas and transforming them into tangible experiences. I refined the solution through each design stage, focusing on expertise, strategic considerations, and knowledge of design principles to meet the needs of customers.

01/ Research & Ideation

Initial research for the Chin Murthi project revealed that success hinged on creating a luxurious user experience that featured exclusive designs, transparent information, and secure transactions. Based on these insights, I began by conceptualizing ideas through an in-depth study. I explored features like a "super simple" UX design, a component-based UI design system, intuitive navigation, and a mobile-friendly layout to improve efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

02/ Flow Mapping

I created the flow for the Chin Murthi project by first conducting an in-depth study. This involved conceptualizing ideas and transforming them into a tangible online experience. The flow was designed to be intuitive and simple, guiding the user through the website to enhance interactions, foster trust, and ultimately boost sales. The process ensured that every step, from viewing a product to a secure transaction, was streamlined and user-friendly.

03/ Functional Specification & Wireframes

The functional specification and wireframes for the Chin Murthi project were developed after a deep study and conceptualization phase. The goal was to create a tangible online experience that was effective and user-friendly. The wireframes were designed to be intuitive, with clear navigation and a mobile-friendly layout, while the functional specifications outlined a component-based design system tailored to the brand's needs. This process ensured that the final design would enhance user interactions and support a smooth, secure shopping experience.

04/ Concept Designs

The concept designs for the Chin Murthi project were developed to create a luxurious and visually appealing experience. The designs showcased exclusive products with a focus on transparency and styles that would boost sales. The UI design specifically tailored colours and illustrations using a component-based design system. The designs were also created with intuitive navigation and a mobile-friendly layout in mind to ensure a stunning and user-friendly final product.

My involvement in the project was focused on strategizing and defining the Chin Murthi website as a UI/UX web solution. This included shaping the product vision, aligning business goals with user needs, and ensuring the design supported seamless online operations. The project successfully delivered a visually appealing and user-friendly website that enhanced user interactions and boosted sales.
